How do you define dying ?

It all depends on what your definition of dying is. But basically it would be when the computer does not work any more and cannot be used. Some times it will not be able to start, reboot, or will be so slow that it is impossible to work. There are several explanations for such events. If your computer refuses to start / reboot then it most probably is hardware failure. One of the key components of your machine must have broken or does not work correctly anymore. This is most frequently due to old age, this can also happen if the computer has had several shocks, or been exposed to water. Or it could be caused by a virus, some viruses destroy or change the basic computer settings and then the computer does not work properly any more. You can fix this issues alone if you have a bit of computer knowledge and know the source of the problem and therefore can replace the faulty component. However if you do not know anything about computers the best way is to take if to professionals and ask them to have a look and repair it. If the computer is really old you might as well just buy a new one.

Save your data before it’s to late

In the case that your computer has become really slow there are several possibilitys and options. It might be an old computer which you have had for over 5 years for example. It could also be that your harddrives are too full in such case you should uninstall unneeded programs. It could also be caused by one or several unwanted viruses, which works in the back ground of your system and therefore slows everything down. You should either delete the virus using an antivirus, or you can restore the harddrive and reinstal your operation system. However you will lose all your data.

There are different sort of networks : social networks, computer networks etc. Facebook for example is a social network, anyone can sign in, create there own profile, enter their name, interests, and then chat with friends, share videos, comments, thoughts etc. And other well known network is Twitter, which is used a lot by americans. A network of computers is when several computers are linked up and can share information. You can have this at different scales, for example the internet is a computer network, everyone connected to it is part of it. Data gets sent to our computer to others and the same happens on the other side. You can also have smaller networks, such as at the office or at home, you connect you computers together in order to share documents or store documents on the same area, thats what is called a local network.

Video games are a good example of how networks are used, now nearly every computer game has a multiplayer option, which means you connect on the internet and play against other real players all over in the world. However you can also have LAN games, which is playing with people connected to a small network, often this is done with friends, you meet up, get everyone together and play against each other.

External hardware for video games

You can play most games simply by using your mouse and keyboard, but for certain games it is easier to use a joystick, or a wheel, especially if you are going to play games with planes or racing cars. It will be much more realistic to play with these extra devices. You can also buy remote controls similar to the playstation controls, if you you prefer having the buttons in a different setting. Most of these controls are now wireless and work with most games.

Mac and PC are very different just like Ford and Jugar are. They both produce products with the same intention, but which work differently and have different capabilitys. To start with most Mac programs are not compatible with Windows, since they were designed for macs. However a lot of Windows programs work on Mac, such as Adobe, Microsoft office, skype and so on. The reason for this is that Mac use have a different operating system to the PC which has Windows.

Other differences are that some shortcuts are not the same, the buttons are a bit different. If you are used to using a PC keyboard you will often at first get the shortcuts mixed up. But after a bit of time and pratice it will come naturaly. And anyhow they are basically the same. The buttons or often only moved slightly to the side.

How to choose ?

Mac are known to be quite expensive. It is like everything which is posh, you pay for the logo, for the name. You can for example get the equivalent of a good mac at Dell but quite cheaper. It all depends on your needs really. Macs are good for visual and sound programs, so if you are going to work in the area of design or music mac is often the best choice. Pc are good for video games, well if you buy the correct equipement such as good graphic card and so on. Mac are not often used for games, there for only a small range of videos games are availble.

And if you are not really interested in computers and all you need is something for work or to put on a few photos, go on the web you should get a PC, it will be cheaper than the equivalent mac.

Technical systems which enable highperformance of your machine. Theses systems are developed to be affordable, easy to install and work straight away.

We are actually working on several projects concerning internet connection speed, Ram modifications and USB connected programmable devices.

We also give tipps and support to enable you to work more effeciently on your computer or to save money.

Modern Hard drives

Nowerdays the basic memory of a computer is not enough for our needs, especially if you want to store films and loads of songs. Thats why the external harddrive market has exploded recently and has made great progress and developpements. You can now buy very small, easy to carry and well protected hard drives no bigger than your hand which can store 500Gb of data. If 500Gb is still not enough for you, you can simply buy 2. Make sure you get different colors or shapes, or have some mean to distinct them from each other. Or you might one day have taken the wrong one to work for example, and end up with the wrong data and finding yourself unable to work on in a bad situation.

USB connected devices

Nearly every external device you can get has an USB connection cable. This method of connection has become very popular and easy simple to use. However a lot of people do not know how to properly disconnect the device and which can end up in breaking the USB port of your computer. Once you have finished with the device you have to eject it from the computer, you must not just pull it out. If you do, your port will probably work as normal for quite some time, but it is possible that after some time the computer doesnt detect that you have ejected the USB device and therefore will think it is still pluged in. Which means if you plug an other device in that port, the computer will not read it, because it still thinks that something else is there.

Tipps

If you wish to do work with word and text editing but you do not want to buy the Microsoft suite, there are other free programs which work just as good. Such as Open Office, it is basically a free version of Microsoft Office, it has the same programs such as excel and powerpoint and so on. The graffics are slightly different but simple to adapte to. This texte editor covers the same options as word and enables you to do it for free.
