USB connected Programmable FPGA and DSP hardware

Affordable, High performance, Reconfigurable, Real-time systems, ready for use straight out of the box.

Hunt Engineering Ready-to-Go systems allow you to implement your FPGA design quickly and efficiently.

Example projects are included for you to use as a quick starting point for your design. VHDL is provided for you to use accessing the hardware features with guaranteed timings and protocols - allowing you to concentrate on designing your part of the VHDL without needing to worry about the details of the hardware.

The systems connect to your PC using Hi-Speed USB, allowing you to download the FPGA design you have made, and then to be able to exchange data between your FPGA design and your PC at speeds up to 40Mbytes/second. We provide device drivers and APIs for your PC (running Windows 2000/XP or Linux) along with examples, allowing you to quickly develop a C or C++ application on your PC to interact with the system.

Alternatively, when you have finished developing your FPGA design, you can program it into the configuration PROM and pull the USB cable - Now your system can be used stand-alone.

All that is left for you to do is to choose which Ready-to-Go system has the right set of peripherals for you.

A Ready-to-Go system includes the following as standard:

  • USB connected FPGA/DSP hardware of your choice
  • USB cable
  • I/O cables to interface to the peripherals
  • Mains Power Supply Unit
  • CD which includes all the software tools and examples plus all the necessary documentation.

All you will need to supply are an IEC lead suitable for your own country and development tools for the FPGA  (we recommend Xilinx ISE) or DSP.
